North and South BCG divide

I was just wondering if there were many people of Northern origin on this forum. This is honestly not a complaint however there does seem to be quite southern vibe e.g a lot of my comments are dwelled upon for the spelling inaccuracy rather than their insightful brilliance, and this neuroticism seems like quite a southern trait (a fairly endearing one).
I know this is quite trodden ground but I am quite curious to know if any of your southern people are actually prejudice against northerners- I had a friend from Ipswich who turned on me when she realised I was from Manchester.

Have you ever been South? It's really not. I'm half Scottish (so northern plus) and the Scottish can be pretty pernickity people.

Us midlanders always get left out :(

Didn't well just have a thread full of this? I really can't abide all this North/South stuff. Let's just all agree that Londoners are nobs, and have a cuddle. ;)

I prefer to think of the Midlands as no-man's-land.

It's from all the hob-nobbing we do.

Mmmm hob-nobs.

Mmmmm.

:O

and knockers.

Hah! Nil's gaay.

Yes I am quarter Scottish and I agree about the Scots, but there is just something about comments I was referring to that was just so southern. The southern people I've known have been very ogranised and neat and have often criticised me for being a non-perfectionist - though I must admit I haven't been down south all that much. Actually my neighbour is from Brighton, and is really rich but dresses like a tramp so I guess there is one execption to the rule.

I'm from the West Midland/Stoke-On-Trent. It's really difficult in the Midlands to get production comapnies interested, which makes me even more determined to have some kind of success.

Midlanderers are more or less from the north.
