Student towns tend to be the cheapest places for booze because they want to draw the students in so they will put on deals.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I really must try to make "Chipolata" more consistent! 
I drank a few alcopops as a student because places did them for £1 but you end up with purple sick.
