Seriously though wishing you well!

Seconded. :)

Talking of our American contigent, whatever happened to Huge Bear?

He left over that misunderstaning over stuff.

Shame. I liked him.

Even though it took you about 6 months to notice he'd gone. :)

This looks like it was written by a chimpanzee on valium that's been beaten with a copy of Preacher.

Laughing out loud You weren't a fan of Preacher either I guess.

Aren't they releasing preview clips of the much vaunted Avatar today?

At around 3pm I think.

It can't possibly live up to expectation, surely . . ?

Probably not. But seeing it somewhere like the Imax in full on 3D etc might be pretty spectacular.

Nor me! >_<

Just watched it and I'm still not really sure what to make of it. Cool effects but the 'avatar' people look reeeeeeeally CGI to me. After watching a movie like District 9 where aliens life like factor is indistinguishable from the rest of the scenery I think this could be a problem.

I liked Preacher but it was a little simple minded.

Awaits reign of brick bats.

I agree, I think it was overrated and over-hyped when it came out. Not a bad comic but not worthy of the acclaim it has received. I still think it only got the attention it did because of the shock value of its material.
