Any mention of an air crash by any chance?

And Curt, all you really need to know about the modern Manchester United organisation is that for over a decade, they used their wealth, power and influence to bully referees, the press and the FA.
A few years ago, Roy Keane would have needed to stab an opposing player with a samurai sword in the box for the away team to get a free kick. There are no penalties in this dojo.

Don't be ridiculous.
It would have needed an atomic bomb.

It's true though! Wenger constantly bangs on about Chelsea and 'financial doping' but Arsenal have a gem in their past - 1915, last game of the season and Manchester United and Liverpool conspire to get Chelsea relegated by throwing their game, they do and United stay up by a point. Chelsea protest, Liverpool and Manchester United get punished and just when it looks like United will get thrown out of the league, Sir Henry Secondname of Arsenal comes along with a great plan of expanding the league by two teams. By great I mean stupid.
This meant that although Chelsea rightly kept their place in the top flight, Manchester United escaped relegation, and if that wasn't bad enough, because neither team went down, there was room for one more team to go up alongside the teams that won promotion.
Did the extra place go to Barnsley who finished 3rd? No. Did the extra place go to Wolves who finished 4th No. It went to Arsenal - who finished 5th (FIFTH). It turned out Sir Henry's great plan enabled him to use his 'influence' to get Arsenal to the very top.
Congratulations on your unbroken run in the top flight and all that, but in reality, you should still be down there scrapping with the likes of Glossop and Leyton Orient.
Tottenham did get relegated though and felt hard done by, so every cloud...
How far back in time are you willing to go Splodge? Perhaps Arsenal shouldn't be in the Premiership because Wenger's ancestors supported the Roundheads and not the Cavaliers? Or perhaps your team would be top of the table if so many great players weren't killed in Flanders? Or maybe Peter Hill-Wood travelled back in time with Q from Star Trek and resequenced amino acids to create Martin Keown?
>_<

You really are a lovely man aren't you?
I would think if it was about the history of Man Utd it would mention the Munich air crash.
As a Chelsea fan you may be confused by that word History as of course Chelsea have none.

Ah, but without Ronaldo, you have no future.

Said when Charlton retired,
When Cantona left,
When Keane Left
When Beckham left
When Van Nistlerooy left.
People are so desperate to see the end of Utd's glorious dominance of English football they cling to anything that might spell the end of the reign.
Vaaaaaaaaaaaaaan Nistlerooy!
Well, we (Arsenal) might have had two soft goals last night, but Celtic had absolutely nothing to offer against us. I didn't realise Scottish football had got this bad. This was, to be honest, less of a test than Arsenal would normally get away to a lower half of the table team in the Premiership. (And where was the roar of this famous Celtic support? Unless the ground was terribly mic-ed up then the support for the home team for such a game was pathetic.)

I think "glorious dominance" might be overstating your case a bit. It's not like you've never been challenged!

The one person you can't replace easily is Alex Ferguson. That much is certain. It will be a completely different prospect for Manchester Utd being consistently successful without him.
What does "noughties" mean?
As in "For a couple of years at the start of the noughties, juset before the teams ran out on the pitch at Old Trafford,"
As in the years 2000-2009.

Agreed.
