Saw this at Waterloo station this evening.

I suppose it might as well have its own pun-laden thread, before he starts on his thread-wide publicity campaign.

Well done, Marc! Hope it sells as well as/better than the first.

EDIT: For those new to the forums, Marc's first book is still available here

Dan

Are you his agent?

They could combine the two novels and call it Blood Evidence.

Naughty Fred Steve.

Has Marc hacked into Swerytd's account?

To be fair to Marc he has been strangly quiet about this one.

Indeed he has. Mine arrived a couple of weeks ago from Amazon but I've not noticed a mention on here until now. It's my holiday read so I'm looking forward to starting it at the weekend.

Is no-one else getting spammed?

You can stop now Marc/Mark. I've ordered my copy today. And I didn't even buy Dan's second hand one for £2.47!

:)

It's like The Da Vinci Code Steve - (not the actual book) - the clues are there in every thread...

Oh. Is it out now? :D

Laughing out loud

I'm taking Belfast Dave's advice and reading Hard Evidence first.

Yup if you are going to read them I would definitely read HE first.

Wasn't there a Clint Eastwood film called Blood Work? Where he has a heart transplant and something?

Yes. It was a Michael Connely book from about ten years ago. Mine was originally called Blood Line but they changed the title as Mark Billingham was also bringing out a book called Blood Line.

( I have a couple in my notebook now that have never been used!)

How about Blood Spot?

All these writers blur into one, with very few standing out from the pack. I keep meaning to read R. J. Ellory, but mainly because when I go into the bookshop I keep thinking his books are the new James Elroy. They're even packaged like the big man's.
