I did read a script for My Family before it aired. A flatmate who worked at the BBC brought it home.
Does anyone know.... Page 2

With permission or pinched it.

Ah. I feel a thread coming on: 101 uses for a My Family script. I dare say one of them wouldn't be to actually read the bastard.

Ah well, if you listen to the words in My Family you find yourself rather disappointed. It's only Lindsay and Wannamaker that make it funny so no, you wouldn't read it.

I'm not sure.... I imagine it was jut passed on after filming. There was interest in it as the first team written show.

I think it ended up propping up a wobbly table leg.

From what Lindsay's said, they improvise stuff purely because some of the script content is so bad. Seems a rather odd set-up to me.

Saying that, the pilot was definitely not a team written show. Penny Croft wrote it by herself (before shooting off to the US to work on Frasier).

Ok. Well, I would recommend aiming to be at Victoria around 3, maybe 4pm at the latest. I wouldn't book a coach back home that leaves Victoria before midnight.

What time would you advise being at Teddington?

I'd go straight there. The transport links around Teddington are pretty awful. There's a very nice pub right next door to the studios where you can kill some time.
Unless you get priority tickets, turning up after 5pm would be pointless.
I'll keep that in mind. So, perhaps I should give myself extra hour on top of what you suggested above just because me + public transport = disaster.
Yes, probably for the best then. Take a packed lunch though. There is almost nothing in Teddington, and the pub next to the studio has a mediocre menu at heart-stopping prices.

Perhaps I'll have a McDonald's at Victoria before I set off.
I'd recommend going to Waterloo (by Tube). Then you don't have to change on the main line, just go straight to Teddington.
