If it's a car the exhaust is usually fastened on with a short rubber strap. Should you not be able to get the part you can usually make one from an old tyre or similar material.

It's not the mountings. It's snapped off from the main pipe. And rather noisy.
The good news is: it's only £51 for supply and fit of a new one.
Chipolata's just lost twenty pence. He was rooting in his pocket, felyt it fall out, and now can't find it anywhere. Maybe it's under the big printer? But it's a lot of hassle to look under that.
