Update:
Danny has been let out because the doctors are happy that Danny is not at risk or a risk to anyone else anymore and that it's leaving his system. He is still poorly but the Docs seem to think he will be for a few days as it's goes.

Good news, Roo.
All the best, Danny, just got to wait it out, I'm afraid. Hope you're not suffering too much.
Thanks everyone, seriously been loosing my mind this past week (when not been asleep). Must admit did panic myself when NHS direct told me to go straight to hospital last night, but after an examination it seems most of my remaining illness was down to side effects of tamiflu, which apparently isn't anywhere near as effective as the government would have us believe.
For a minority of people it's wonderful, and the BEST the rest of us can expect is possibly a 24 hours less suffering. In fact if I'd gone to hospital originally they would have put me on something else after a couple of days.
Anyway feeling a lot better, hope no-one here gets it really do, it sucks.
Glad to hear you're on the mend.
I know a few people who've had it proper now and it sounds nasty.
If I'm going to get it, I'd rather it was sooner than later as it'll be a nightmare getting it in term time.
So what was it actually like?
The people I know who had it didn't really have cold type symptoms (runny nose, etc) but just flu-like ones (shivers, aches, fever) and really sore stiff necks.
Innnteresting.
So you just have to stay in bed and feel like shit until it's over?

Hooray glad your feeling better, now let's have a sketch on the subject.
Well got up Monday short of breath (I have asthma but don't really suffer with it and use my pump about twice a year), got to work with a temparature and headache with naseaue... got told to leave work... phoned helpline they gave me a number to get tamiflu... phoned my aunt... she got it for me... went to bed... slept most of monday and tuesday... wednesday could sleep before was too hot... couldn't eat because still felt nauses... same again Thursday but breathing issues returned... Friday felt better AM... back to the temprature headache and naseua PM... same Saturday along with a cough (lovely NEW sympton) trip to hopsital... then back at 2 in the morning... now still have cough and a bit of a temprature... but it's more like a normal cold now...
That of course doesn't include how down it all made me feel, which is why your messages and Loopey and Rube keeping in contact really did help too, had contact with about 4 people for 4 days and only left the house yesterday.
Thanks again everyone.. I love ya all <3

Don't be bitter just 'cos you don't get to have sex with Aaron, our great leader.
He naturally feels better after seeing my piggy film.
