Just found out yesterday that BBC Comedy are organizing a live reading of my sitcom "Skin Deep" at the Cabaret Bar, Pleasance Courtyard, Edinburgh, on the 27th, at 1pm-ish. There'll be 3 script excerpts read from 3 different writers on the BBC Northern Laughs scheme including myself, each excerpt being about 15 minutes long.
I am, of course, shitting my pants. If you're around Edinburgh on the 27th, please come. And please laugh.

Thanks Flooz! The cast are yet to be confirmed yet but hopefully we'll get some good comedy thesps to make my words funnier.

Yeah I'll be there for the rehearsals day on the 26th as well.

Super congratulations and best of luck Lee. It sounds terrifying but it will also be performed for industry types, so it could be the start of something big.
If you can, ask the organisers to put your one on last, they always seem to do the best in these types of competition.
Wear a kilt, that way you can easily discard your 'nerve bricks' with the minimum of fuss and attention.
Outwardly generous with my congratulations inwardly as a would be writer ready to hack you down like a dog if it goes badly
