And he paid his gas bill.

But only once he'd received the final warning. Bastard.

And Godot, most British people managed to not have to blow smoke up Saddam's arse by not voluntariy visiting because they were an apologist for a phantomasgorical regime.

And yes, I too think I just made that word up.

I may not agree with Galloways values, but I respect his integrity.

Also it's not like in any of the coalitions the US or the UK have been involved in, in the Mid East have been much better. Syria, Egypt, Saudi opressive shit holes one and all.

Oh and we don't say anything meaningful about Sudan because China wants their oil.

What about his indefatigability?

What about his indefatigability?

And his big gobshitey mouth full of crap?

Oh he's quite funny and entertaining to watch. He's one of the few MPs who even slightly have any political opinions of their own.

I'm just glad there's some one out there who thinks Kharzai, Blair and Bush are wankers and never stopped saying it.

A few times this sleazy, opinionated, dated political hack has carried the whole dignity of our Parliament on his back.

Most people prefer to blow smoke up the arses of other murderous regimes - of which there are many, allied to Britain and the United States.

Galloway has been the scourge of those who have profited from the sacking of Iraq, which is one of the reasons why he has been (unsuccessfully) smeared so often. He successfully sued the Daily Telegraph for publishing a forged document that personally implicated him. Nothing to do with galloway's criticism of Telegraph owner Conrad Black, who was subsequently successfully convicted of fraud!

Don't let people blow smoke up your ass. Galloway is a hard liner and very morally consistent politician - as well as a fantastic speaker. He memorably destroyed Christopher Hitchens (a left wing journalist drifted to the right) by describing him as the first instance in nature of a butterfly turning back into a slug.

I do admire to an extent the fact that Galloway won't be swayed from his beliefs, irrespective of current political trends, but I can't say I subscribe to them at all.

And as far as I can remember, I thought Hitchins was always right wing, in that I can only ever remember him writing in the Mail on Sunday in my youth. But Hitchins is a prick, agreed. (if that was your point.)

Galloway is admirable in one moment, yet painfully and erroneously one-eyed the next.

A good politician should demand your grudging respect but never your pity or affection. There are very few on either bench at the moment that meet that criteria for me.

And I think Galloway was enough of an arrogant prick to think he'd get to discuss the Gulf War in Big Brother.

I think he would lick any Rula's hands.

[GEDDIT? GEDDIT? oh I should go to bed]

Didn't he just want to borrow her Specials albums?

Lend Ska, Geddit?

Christopher Hitchens is the lefty, Peter Hitchens is the right winger who writes in the mail (they're brothers).

Too true, Hitler never wavered from his cause, spoke his mind, didn't cosy up to the Americans (quite the opposite) and fought and died for his beliefs.

Unfortunately, he never got a chance to appear on Big Brother...damn you history!

Don't let people blow smoke up your ass. Hitler was a hard liner and very morally consistent politician - as well as a fantastic speaker. He memorably destroyed most of Europe and was good friends with Lord Rothemere (a right wing journalist drifted to the far right) by describing him as grosse pukka chapenhiemer.

Sorry - off-topic. This is General Discussion - Hitler was not a General.

'I say, I say, I say - what's the difference between George Galloway and Adolf Hitler?'

a) One of them is a power mad, shouting lunatic that likes to get his own way and steamrollers over the prevailing popular opinion by using threats and thuggery.

b) One of them is a vainglorious, jumped up little shit with a crap moustache.

c) Only one of them was a pussy.
