The May 29th date has been posted all over for a year or so. I believed it was the 29th till the date came and passed. In fact I started this thread the week of the 29th with hope that someone was going to answer the 29th.

I think that's a fairly good indicator as to the reliability of the information.
For those who are interested, here are some photos taken by Sam Bain from the series 6 production. (Which includes at least one new cast member.)

The new bird is fit, but her real name and character name suggest she is playing a foreigner.
If they're trotting out the Eastern European gags, it's not a good sign.

Yay! I got the first season of Peep Show coming my way in a couple of weeks. Although it doesn't look like there are any other seasons available in North America though. 
So I'm hoping its not too good so that I don't become obsessed with needing to watch the other seasons.
