Funniest sitcom moment ever Page 6

For me it's a line in dinnerladies, believe it or not. Dinnerladies was the greatest!

Anyway in one episode Jean is wearing Charlie perfume. She is a bit drunk and starts to flirt with Tony, she says to Tony "breath in, can you smell my Charlie?". That cracks me every time.

Have just watched an episode of saxondale. His letter to anger made em laugh an awful lot. Guess just because it wasn't alan Partridge all such classic moments will be ignored forever.

Saxondale is as funny, if not funnier then Partridge. A superb character mixed with some great comic moments. It's a shame a wider audience didn't embrace it in the same way as Partridge.

Anyways, back to funniest sitcom moments, this line from Red Dwarf always, always cracked me up -

Rimmer: I used to be in the Samaritans.
Lister: I know. For one morning.
Rimmer: I couldn't take any more.
Lister: I don't blame you. You spoke to five people and they all committed suicide. I wouldn't mind, but one was a wrong number! He only phoned up for the cricket scores!

it'd?????????

:D

To me that's a contraction of 'it would'.

r.e the dinnerladies. it's probably not the greatest moment ever but there is line where Stan says something about not being able to go out with someone who puts a cooking implement on the draining board 'prong side down' which I thought was pretty genius.

Top 3:

Fletcher telling Mackay about a boxer he knew who took one punch too many then ended up as a Prison Warden.

Iris finally having enough of Mrs Levinson and finding out she's her mum in LoG.

Mr Carpark's Red Dwarf one above. Lemming Sunday I believe it was called.

Another one for the list:

Father Ted's Milk Float/Speed one. Truly inspired.

Friends: Dan Castellaneta's cameo as the crazy zoo worker.

Also in the same episode is Brooke Shields as Joey's crazy stalker.

I love the crazy people in Friends.

Eddie (Chandler's brief room mate)

I have just watched an episode of Keeping Up Appearences and there is a brilliant moment at a barbecue where hycinths dad pours manure all over the food. That has to be up there as a classic moment.

I think one of my favourite moments from recent memory (ok, I watched it with my kids the other night) is when Hyacinth and Onslow end up dancing together on the cruise ship on Keeping Up Appearances.

I'm not actually a big fan of that bit. It felt a bit forced, and almost out of character of Hyacinth to me. But I certainly appreciate the comic value in it.

I have just watched a cracking episode on YouTube where hycinth arranges a game of golf so richard can impress some executives of company where she wants him to get a job. It is wierd that despite KUA not being anwhere near the type of comedy I like and write and that it manages to make me laugh so much.

That's a good one. I also like Father Ted doing the Hitler impression at the window.

And the Alan Partridge pole dancing flashback.

And the Alan Partridge pole dancing flashback.

"Would you like me to lap dance for you?" lost all sexiness after that.
