Not bad, not bad at all.
I want to buy DVDs now though. Damn you.
Well I haven't purchased a DVD for a while either, at least not one that wasn't ridiculously cheap.
I really want some of the upcoming box sets (seen all the ones Network are releasing?), but just can't afford it. I do wish they'd drop the price of Pardon The Expression too.

Things on your list I've seen little or none of that I've considered getting. Would you recommend any of them to me?
BTW, you strike me as the kind of person who, like me, would hate The Osbournes and Tittytittybangbang.
The Osbournes is great. Although I'll admit I've not watched it properly since it was originally broadcast. But I do have a little soft spot for Tittybangbang - although I wouldn't have bought the DVD if it had been any more than the £1 or whatever it was I paid.
As for recommendations...
Yes Minister
Yes Minister
Yes Minister
Yes Minister
Yes Minister
Yes Minister
(And Yes, Prime Minister.)
Given your appreciation of Bless This House, I'd also give Terry And June and Father, Dear Father a go.
Carry On At Your Convenience is great, although not Sid-centric enough.
You'd probably like Don't Wait Up, but I wouldn't expect much of a reception from Carrie & Barry or Chef!.
To be honest, all but two or three of those are rather key shows IMO, so I couldn't narrow it down any more than prioritising your viewing order.
I remember watching Carrie and Barrie ages ago when it was getting slated by the papers and remember thinking it's nowhere near as bad as the papers are making out.
Is anything ever as bad as the papers make out though?
Might be worth giving it a go though if you did think that. Can probably pick the DVD up for a few squids.
Quote: Jack Massey @ September 8 2009, 8:09 PM BSTThe Tintin Collection- 3 Films featuring Tintin.
Are these Tintin and the Golden Fleece, Tintin and the Blue Oranges and The Crab with the Golden Claws? Or Tintin and the Temple of the Sun and Tintin and the Lake of Sharks or what?
Are they any good?·I've seen only the Golden Fleece and Blue Oranges for sale in Australia, but at ridiculously high prices, so was reluctant to buy in case they were crap. The Lake of Sharks I have seen.
Quote: Robert D @ August 12 2009, 2:04 AM BSTI bought Peppa Pig once because it was £1. But I was looking for a birthday present for my youngest sister.
That reminds me, 09/09 is coming up again.
Roberrttttttttttttttttttt!
Tomorrow will be 999.

Sister's third birthday. I bought her the second series of Charlie and Lola.
Ah, the mystery is revealed.
The mystery was revealed a few weeks ago.
