Funniest sitcom moment ever Page 5

I think the cake line is from Curb, when Jeff's wife (I forget her name) is chewing out Larry for the umpteenth time.

Funnily enough, my American ex loved that scene, but I just thought it was pretty blah.

Thank f**k! That was doing my head in!! :D

After much thought, I'm going for the Pantomine Cow sequence in the Dad's Army episode Operation Kilt.

Ahhh.

What the hell is Phoenix Nights?

F**king hilarious.

Peter Kay? The last few Christmases I've bought his standup DVDs for my nan, on the recommendation of my parents. She's 82. I just assumed he'd be shit. I'll have to check it out.

Really?

I don't dislike his standup, but Phoenix Nights is much, much funnier.

I'll gratefully accept that as a recommendation. Cheers.

It's really, REALLY good Kevin. You should check it out mate.

I always like the bit from series 1 of I'm Alan Partridge where Alan finally escapes from Jed the stalker.

That is good. But that episode is crammed with great moments, like Jed getting alan in a headlock, and Alan trying to explain just why he's got such a tacky picture in his living room. And I love the talk he gives earlier, in which he demonstrates taking out a terrorist with a frightened old woman from the audience.

Thank you Aaron. I like you.

r.e sitcom moments. I rewatched the Peep Show episode where Jez ate the dog. it is very funny however the comedy snob in me feels that it was a bit of a sell out moment. But for laughing value it is one of the funniest moments of all time.
