Ellie is annoyed she's been so busy today she hasn't been able to faff around on here today.

Quote: Nil Putters @ August 7 2009, 2:31 PM BSTI want some of those glasses, I have a couple of films I need them for.
Quote: Nil Putters @ August 7 2009, 2:33 PM BSTHmmm *ponders*
Different films use different coloured glasses, so be careful if you're ordering for use elsewhere.
Yeah, I noticed that. *ponders further*
Tempting indeed.
Quote: bigfella @ August 7 2009, 4:36 PM BSTLeak solved no real damage! Yeah for British Gas Service Agreements.
Should that have been 'caused'?
Quote: billwill @ August 7 2009, 6:13 PM BSTIt's been a funny peculiar day:
First thing: while waiting for Rob to arrive, Laurence Marks phoned as he had a peculiar situation on his notebook computer. Sorted..
Later Rob arrived to look at Lotus Blossom's head and after discussion took it away in a bin liner & bubble wrap, leaving her body in the garage under my house.
Then the Renault repair garage called to say that RAC warranty had disallowed my claim for gearbox repair of my Espace on the grounds of age & mileage of the gearbox. So I think that the following is a load of B*ll*cks:
Continued Peace of mind from the RAC. Provided your car has been properly maintained and has covered less than 100,000 miles, we can offer you the chance to continue worry-free motoring for a further 12 months with a RAC Warranty.
Repair bills are paid for you.
With a RAC Warranty you won't have to worry about expensive repair bills, we pay for the replacement partsand labour on an extensive range of mechanical parts and we deal direct with the repairer so you won't be out of pocket.and ...
What Parts are covered...
...
Manual Gearbox
All internal failures of gears, shafts, synchromesh hubs, selectors, seals and bushes, bearings speedometer drive, overdrive units (where fitted), solenoid, transfer box.I phoned the RAC warranty people, but they won't budge on the payment so I had a blazing row on the phone and ended up canceling the Warranty, so at least I won't pay any more on their useless warranty. Then I went online and cancelled the direct debit, to be damn sure.
Then I started to walk around to the Renault garage, and there was one bright spot to the day; new neighbours are moving in next-door-but-one and they seem quite nice people. I chatted a while. Then carried on to the Garage. The chief mec was out, but they expect my Renault to be working on Monday, but the total bill is a LOT of munney..
Well it is a French car...

eBay? Might have the specific films' ones listed?
Are there any special glasses you can order to make Jude Law appear two-dimensional?
Quote: Dolly Dagger @ August 8 2009, 4:11 PM BSTIt's a bit of a theological minefield that most of them don't know enough about. I tried telling them that I just don't suit orange and I'm certainly never cutting my hair, but getting into an indepth debate works better. I don't know why....maybe because I tend not to give up on an argument....
Griff learned the hard way.

It was a congratulatory biscuit actually!
Mmmmm misunderstanding biscuits....
Just learned that my grandmother passed away last night.
Aw, sorry to hear that mate.
Thanks. She was the last of my grandparents. The last of my 3 uncles died a year ago. Growing old is not without its drawbacks.
