World of Tradecraft animation

Hello everyone

Not written or performed by me (a couple of 'Laurence and Gus: Hearts and Minds' writers are behind this one) but I was involved. Rob Grant (Red Dwarf God!) was the script editor.

Lovely if you could take a look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7FyUrc4Hi0

P.S. If anyone gives it 5 stars then much love.

Laughing out loud Great stuff.

Good piece Yac.

For me, the dialogue was a bit heavy on fantasy character references. That said, the earthly references [Mrs Milton, long-handled paint roller, burnt sienna, White Ford Transit Van etc.] were enough to carry it.

Enjoyable storyline.

Enjoyed that.

Cheers Nil, Geoff and Timbo.

"That's just my snivelling minion, you know how it is"

Mrs Milton's spare bedroom!

White Ford Transit!

Leaving the crusty paintbrush!

Burnt Sienna!

Very funny stuff. Can see the Rob Grant influence.

Very clever.
Nice one.

Made me smile, seemed a bit overlong, as essentially it's the one joke.

Loved the animation style and the computer screens though, I can only hope this is a start of more wonderful things to come.

I liked it. Probably would have got more into it if I was more versed in the fantasy world it portrays but still more than funny enough!

Great animation, sound f/x btw ;)

Dan

It's fun, I remember this style of skit being quite popular back when all us cool kids played D&D

Thanks for the comments so far.

Bit of a rest first I think but they'll be more. Want to get back into writing for a bit (unrelated, but I have some stuff I wrote on Radio 4 tonight- huzzah. Ahem, OK, enough bragging, anyway...). Love to make a 7 minute animation pilot of some sort. Will definitely get round to doing that.

Enough yammering from me.
