BCG Meet up 2009 Page 47

Well, since I'm not gonna be there, if you could all smoke one for me, I'd appreciate it.

Smoker here too. Wave

You should know better. :)

Don't give her one!

Groovy. Bring some extra Marbly Lights for Dolly the Scrounger. ;)

That was my nickname. :)

I always have a couple of packs on me. ;)

Or a cigarette. (Ba-doom-doom).

Yes, because the potential hazzards of smoking are little known to anyone but doctors, aren't they? ;)

I'm only worried about my teeth and skin, otherwise I'd take it up full time again.

Why not? Surely everyone knows it's cool, sexy and makes you look big and clever? :)

And it used to get you served in pubs when you were 15. I don't know what teenagers do now, draw on a moustache?

Yes, knowing the dangers to your health is why I smoke vicariously through others. Although I've done the cancer thing when I did nothing wrong, so I probably should be a smoker, except for the fact that it's so f**king expensive over here.

All doctors smoke.
Fact.

I smoke the occasional cigar. Big fat cuban fellas - I'd smoke a lot more if they weren't so f**king expensive.

My mum is and has always been a teetotal non-smoker. She has asthma, mild heart problems and high blood pressure.

My dad is a heavy drinker and roll-up smoker who has never had a day's illness. Well until a bit of liver damage now in his 70s.

They are a very odd couple.

I always thought it was a hell of a lot cheaper in the US than over here. What's the average price per pack (or carton) of 20 over there at the moment?
