Helping the ex pack for a few days until the movers come on Tuesday. (It was supposed to be Monday, but they changed plans this afternoon.) Then we drive to Oklahoma City with stops in Tallahassee and Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. It's about 1400 miles of driving with an elderly cat and an even more elderly Pomeranian.
Well, I think I'm gonna call it a night. We're taking the kids to the zoo, then my husband and I are having a day all to ourselves to spend together. I'd rather be doing laundry or packing, in all honesty. But, oh well. Talk to you all soon.

I did a flight to DC as a kid with a stop in Atlanta. Rochester to Atlanta to DC. Makes sense, right?

Sometimes they wanted me to fly from Los Angeles to Tampa via Minneapolis. That has to be 4000 miles out of the way.

my kids really wanted to go. I have a hard time being around him and it's hard to be a parent to my kids when he undermines everything I do. My mother-in-law was the one that suggested the day together for us. I just don't have the heart to tell her that her son is a total shit and I want him to leave. But, she is paying for the zoo, so it's not all bad...
