Last years Christmas do was in November. So maybe around then. I wish they'd space them out a bit.

If all goes according to plan, I will be able to attend the one that will be held after the September shindig.

Yay, Andrea :D

If there is another one this year, I may as well hold out for that. Thus! Improving my chances of getting there at all.

Planning on travelling the vast expanse of water, are we? :)

Yep, my gran wants to send me on a holiday. She's the best.

If I wanted to go I'd have travel 250 miles by coach or train. No wait, coach (because it's cheaper). Thereagain, travelling by coach = 250 miles turning into 325 miles due to it going via Wales. Unimpressed

Sounds good. Why pick Britain?

Don't take my word for it anyway. Why should anyone listen to me? Why should I speak? Since I know nothing. ;)

So what's stopping you lightweight?

Finck came from Germany last year.

It was just a thought. I'd be able to afford the trip down there, but I'd have bugger all money for drinks and food if I got hungry.

I had an opportunity to spend the summer there about 12 years ago and would have done so if it wasn't for my fun-sucking parents. I was going to study at Oxford. Instead, I stayed home and my life did a complete 180. If I had gone, I most likely would have made plans to return there permanently. But if I had, I wouldn't have my kids and they're the most important thing in the world to me. So, all in all, I don't regret not going, but that hasn't stopped me from wanting to visit and maybe make the move someday.

And got to speak to me, so it's well worth all that effort.

Could you not consume a massive sandwich before you left?

That's my real reason for making the trip: to bask in the greatness of Tim. :D

I could and probably will. I'm guessing there will be a bar? I ain't going to be the chump who sits there with one glass all night.
