Mark Thomas Page 3

:D Bums to you! BUMS!

I've spoken to Mark Thomas on the phone and he had a lovely phone manner.

Sorry Nil Putters.

But it's not really much of a discussion with everyone saying 'I like Mark Thomas' and me being the only dissenter in the Mark Thomas Lefty Bum Club.

All of this trouble could have been avoided 6 posts ago if it wasn't for sootyj's interference. (Do you see what I did there soots? I put the blame on you - how sootyj of me!)

It won't happen again (unless sootyj, like Al Queada, starts trouble again). Whistling nnocently

I'm not too keen on Mark Thomas either. Too much agitprop, too few jokes.

:D Dissent all you want, but about Thomas. :P

There you go, a fellow rightwing bum club member. ;)

I never said I was right wing, I'm just not left wing. I'm wingless. Like a Kiwi.

I never said I was a lefty either. ;) So am I. :) Still like him though.

What can I say about Mark Thomas that hasn't already been said? Oh I know, irritating c**t wart. Britain's answer to Michael Moore likes to 'cherry pick' the most right on, trendy leftie, Socialist Worker topics which all the bespectacled homosexuals at Channel 4 like to spunk over.

We have a massive crisis in Afghanistan over troop numbers and equipment. Will Mark Thomas go on a crusade to find out why we don't have enough helicopters or adequate body armour? I some how doubt it.

I could forgive all of his so called 'do gooding' if he was actually funny or witty in any way. But instead, all we're given is a substandard stand up mixed with a substandard Roger Cook who operates under the miguided apprehension that he's still in college circa 1983.

He am a twat.

Very, VERY well said.

Oh well. Each to their own.

Indeed. :)

Only the terminally thick would expect Mark Thomas to campaign on stepping up this nutty war in Afghanistan. I think you're confusing him with Jim Davidson.

Quite a fleet of Airwolves wouldn't make this war anyless ridiculous.

When the UK pulls out finally and Kharzi hands half the government over to The Taliban (oops I mean war lords) and drives women and none Muslims out of public life again, certain politicians are going to look very stupid.

Even if the British army (sorry coalition of 42 nations) is 'successful', Al-queada could find another location to plan their terrorist bombings, like a bedsit above a kebab shop in Burnley for example.

youngian, RC wasn't suggesting that Thomas would or should campaign for the war.

And the line of discussion about the war itself is way off topic. Carry on if you'd like to be suspended.
