I quite liked this one.
Critique Recommendations. Page 2
Shucks, guys!
My memory is appalling, so I'm only going to remember a slim selection of the sketches that have made me laugh. Here are a few...
Sootyj's Drawn Apart sketches I liked, as did I his Stingy Time Traveller and bad comedian one's (can't remember the name of that series though...)
I remember Timbo arriving strong with a Highwayman sketch.
James Harris has written some corkers.
Lee Henman's Porn Goblin was a cracker.
Ben Rickett's latest Newton sketch was the good stuff.
Then there was Fred Sunshine and his JC PLC.
Oh, and there was a sitcom about a driving instructor I remember enjoying, though I forget the author.
I still smile when I recall Bussell's gas chamber, sootyj's rabbit, Forshaw's traffic light, Bandage's before mobile phones, and without dredging my memory for particulars, the Wileyesque cleverness of Afinkawan and the out-there originality of the Mikado; plus of course, lots of great sketches by Bohannon and James Harris; and that driving instructor sitcom, which again was by Harris.
I am sure there is a lot of stuff I have missed. God knows, the standard in Critique is uneven, but it certainly has its moments.

Oh now I get it.
Quote: Griff @ August 3 2009, 10:40 AM BSTBussell's 'Time Machine 2' is one of my favourites. https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/9992
Glad you liked it, that one is soon to be filmed.

Good again, this has been recorded as an audio sketch, soon to be made available as part of a regular podcast.

I thought it already had been?

Of course, Bo has written some great stuff!
The sitcom was by Harris too? Clearly I have a lot of Harris love.
I should say that, despite the fact that he doesn't post in critique, Grey Bloke's videos always make me laugh. And Shoepie has made some lovely stuff. Planet Giraffe too.

Nope. None of the time traveller sketches have been in front of a camera just yet.

Well why wouldn't you? He is a damned sexy beast.

I really must remember never to take anything you say seriously.

My partner says the same thing.

She's getting referenced a lot today. It's almost like you're trying to prove something.

the bad comedian one's called Funster Frank https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/9346 https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/13712
I also loved Perry's sitcom about a tanning parlour.
The Some Grey Bloke videos on YouTube are sublime.
Anything by Ben and Bussell. Apart from the rubbish ones.
I've enjoyed reading or watching some of Lee Henmans stuff. The Geordie accent voice over thingies were always very good.
I seem to remember laughing whilst reading one of Leevils abandoned sitcoms. F**k knows which one though.

immediately springs to mind.
This is good too: https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/13786
And this collaborative sketch, despite my involvement, turned out well, I thought: https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/12539
