One punch. But who? Page 4

I'm surprised he got away with killing all those whores in Reading.

Ah, but Steve Wright did start out on Reading's 210 radio station.

True still he killed them and we're sentenced to a life sentence of him on Radio2.

Call that justice?

He had a hilariously titled show with Mike Reid called The Reid and Wright Show.

And who also wrote and sang some of the worst music of the 1980's. For example, 'My Myfanwy' *shudders*

EDIT: Oh, and he wrote that musical about Cliff Richard. *shudders again*

Myfanwy

That's not a real word and Welsh isn't a real language. It was invented by Scrabble players.

Do all radio DJs need a secret identity?

1980s*

1980s*

A year or a decade is allowed to be possessive and so using an apostrophe is acceptable, even when the implied possession is not explicitely stated. So in this case the word "decade", as in "1980's decade", or indeed "music", as in "1980's music" is implied but not explicitly stated.

Shouldn't it be 1980s' ?

(Shush, Dolly!)

At my current employer, The University of Oxford, it is not allowed.

They're not all that. Unimpressed

They take money from Rupert Murdoch, so I'll get my advice from somewhere else, thanks.

OK, find me a UK publisher who allows apostrophes in date plurals who you consider to be more reputable.

Ladybird books? :)
