But this is my first ever one. 
I bought a computery-printery-thing-in-one with my first paycheck. Then quit my rubbish job, cos I only wanted it to buy that.

I bring home more in one paycheck now than I did in an entire year at my first job when I was 16. (Not adjusted for inflation, of course.)
The more you make, the more you spend. I don't feel like I'm living better than I did when I made half as much only 8 years or so ago, but I guess I am. As you get older you worry less about money and more about comfort, happiness and health.
