Is anyone living their dream? Page 2

Well the last dream I recall having was strangling a dog, and I'm certainly not doing that.

No.

Short and blunt, Griff. I like it! :)

Yet.

I've always wanted to become an actor, so no where near yet but I've still got plenty of time.

However, on a more serious tone, a career in medicine is where I actually want to end up but an acting career would be nice.

Yet.

Well you can say that, but you'd be barking up the wrong tree.

I thangyo!

I wanted to be an undertaker. I don't know why I am not one. Teary

I've asked a few undertakers how they got into the business. All of them said it was a family business they were born into. So I guess your parents weren't undertakers?

Cue avuncular advice from Tim Walker.

Along the lines of "don't".

Yeah, I'm addicted to this comedy forum. :(

A recurring dream I had as a chid was to own a magical flying elephant, with whom I'd go on exciting adventures all around the world.

So, yes, things turned out pretty much as I planned.

Laughing out loud

No they are not. I can't help but feel I missed out on something.

I used to know someone who worked in as an undertaker's assistant. Directly across the road from the McDonald's where she was also employed.

I am hoping that there was no Sweeney Todd-esque arrangement.

She quit her position at the undertaker after having to deal with a close family friend.

McDonald's wouldn't do that, would they? Errr

Ah. Yes, similar.

One would certainly hope not.

Although those Filet-o-Fish things are bloody suspicious.

Unlike a lot of trades/jobs at the moment that are affected by the recession, a career as an undertaker will always provide a steady income.

That said, if cryonics becomes available on the NHS then undertakers might not be rubbing their hands every time they scan the obituary columns.
