Not now Bernard. That kid's mum was a bitch.
Goosebumps books. I think I might have been made to read these at school.

Ooo, I do! I do!
The Hobbit was he first proper book I ever read by myself, when I was 10. Before that, I used to love Asterix books, for the humour and the brilliant illustrations.
I loved all the 'Just William' books, just checked on Wikipedia that there was 39 of them.
Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys were cool too.
Loved Asterix & all the Doctor who ones.
I remember reading a few Judy Blume books, doubt I'd like them very much nowadays.
I seem to remember a book about eating fried worms as well?
I loved Judy Blume books.
Naughtiness.

Me too, but it is probably the sort of "educational" historical guff Griff hated.

It is required reading for erm... curious kids!

Wasn't that also titled
Tales of a Tenth grade Muffin?
Oh yeah.... Judy Blume. I loved Superfudge.
Then I discovered Sweet Valley High, and boys.
I looooved Sweet Valley High!

Tales of a fourth grade Muffin?
Ha! She wasn't 9!

I know! I've just read this back and realised that my favourite books as a kid were Superfudge and Nancy Boys!
I think the literature that left the biggest impression on me was the porn mags we found in the back of our peripatetic teachers car. He was also the conductor of the band I played in and all round dirty sod. But he did throw great New Years Eve parties.
And Ellie. The Hobbit is not like a bad fairy story! It's damned good. Bend over and be spanked right now
