I'd like to see A.I.W but it does look identical to the cartoon, so what's the point? But I can't really judge from the trailer. So I'll wait in see :)

The film I'm looking forward to the most this year is, Where The Wilds Things Are. I don't normally bother with the cinema, but I'll make it for that :)

And Inglourious Basterds (I think that's how he's spelling it...)

Yes, looking forward to that. I still love Tarantinos work, even though it's fashionable to kick him these days.

I think AIW is a slightly different story with Alice being 19 and revisiting wonderland. (the actual book is called Alice's Adventures Underground).

I agree Where the Wild Things Are looks good. I wonder how they'll drag a 10 page picture book into a feature film?

Let the wild rumpus start!

Yeah, he's defintely out of favour. I re-read the Pulp fiction script the other day and I have to say it's bloody good.

I did no know that. That's sounds better :)

Very true, and annoying.
His films are flipping brilliant.

Unimpressed Awful end of primary school play.

You played Alice and ended up wetting yourself. And then all your clothes fell off.

There'll be DVD extras, I'm sure. Like buying fags at Tesco.

I know they've branched out quite a bit in the past few years, but rent boys...?

His films were brilliant. In recent years he's been guilty of making bloated self-indulgent codswallop. Death Race anyone? And Kill Bill could have been done and dusted in one movie, the second one was superfluous to requirements. As for Inglorious Basterds, I'm looking forward to seeing it but new QT films don't fill me with as much excitement as they did ten years ago.

So we couldn't get in. All the showings were blocked up. So we went to Pizza Express.

So did you enjoy your meal? So was it ridiculously overpriced?

Hell, it's Pizza Express, of course it's ridiculously overpriced.

Tarantino is terribly overrated.

Harry Potter was good. But missing massive chunks from the book which I would have thought were really bloody crucial to the plot. I assume they've been moved to the next installment ... Although, no, that's not possible with the death. Really not pleased about that then.

Sherlock Holmes trailer beforehand, looked alright, although I'll probably never get around to going to see it.

Saw Harry Potter last night.
I thought it was the worst movie so far.
They left out too much & it didn't make a lot of sense in the end.

Wish we'd gone to see The Hangover instead.

I LOVED Kill Bill and I, well, fair enough, I only liked Death Race. It wasn't a proper film anyway.

Have you watched any of his films?

Oh you will see it.
Even if only on DVD.

I loved Kill Bill 1. But Kill Bill 2... Meh! We didn't need it. And I can't really remember that many great moments from the second one save for when Uma kills old Pervy Carradine.

I did say "going to" see it.

Oh, and Toy Story is a massive steaming lump of turd burglar.

Quote: Aaron @ July 29 2009, 2:52 PM BST

I knew you were a New Labour Boy at heart.

(Toy Story's great. Script by Joss Whedon, I think)
