Why do fishermen fish?

They do my head in.
Come rain or shine they line the banks of the two local lakes day and night.
I have two St Bernards and a Jack Russell who love to swim but when these nerdy idiots are hogging all of the local amenities I can't let them near the water.
I don't understand the fascination of catching a fish and then putting it straight back in the water. Some of the idiots even pose for photographs holding the smelly things before putting them back

Effin idiots would be better off trainspotting or stalking Z list celebrities.
Anything that keeps them away from me is fine. They piss me off no end, What pisses you off?

This could surely have been a post in "Things that piss you off" rather than yet another BD1 thread.
