Well I would probably agree Lee. But I think the dynamic of a site changes. There's a lot of comedy around thanks to the new stations but the standard I think isn't that great. It's all a bit middle of the road. When something is great or controversial or really bad then those forums become more popular again. I guess with general thread and critique they are constantly changing and there's some controversy and so on. It can interest people.

Edit: Aaron could close critique/general down tomorrow. But closing one or both I think would make the site slightly poorer without them. But you are right to say he could do that if he wanted to.

Edit 2: Also I note Aaron has not specifically commented on our 'discussion'. He could of course ban my arse *waits* but I do think it does show maturity though he's only a wipper-snapper (spelling?)

Publicly stating that you agree with Don Rushmore that most of the writers in Critique are 'shit' and 'unfunny' could put certain people's noses out of joint, hence the venting and the ire.

As I've stated, I don't post in there, so it doesn't really bother me, but I see how it could bother other forum members. I have also never received a horrible PM (or any PM for that matter) from Don Rushmore, so I have no real axe to grind with him personally.

New comedy writers have a tough enough time as it is, so I'm always going to side with the underdog on these occassions. I know that on your homeworld of Vulcan, emotions are strictly forbidden, but try to cut some of the newbie writers a bit o' slack.

Not at all. You all come here by choice, and are free to leave in the same manner. The populus of Zimbabwe aren't (necessarily) there by choice, nor is there an easy way for them to leave, and certainly not to set up their own country run the way they like.
