For me, the answer to the question in the topic is yes, but the answer to the question in your post is no.
Do any BCGers make a living out of writing? Page 2

There was also another one today, which I have closed.

And you still don't seem to be bothering to just take a second to read through your post before you hit submit.
It's not that much to ask, is it?
A closed thread is like a closed mind. There are plenty of them on BSG.

That's crochet with me.
*gasps in awe*
Yes. I've been a full time comedy writer since 2001. It hasn't made me rich, but I make a better living than I did in any of my previous jobs and I've a lot more free time. That said, it can be quite frustrating - There isn't half as much creative freedom as people might imagine. Still, it's better than anything else I've done.

Who do you write comedy for?
I've written for various production companies and had work on all the main channels. Some of the stuff I've done has been well received on here and some has been slated. I have a list of names re. the slating. You'll never work in this town again.

I've always said you were brilliant. Whoever you are.

I hope you don't live in Darlington.
No, not Darlington. I'm not trying to be coy, it's just that I'd rather read the comments on without anyone knowing I'm involved in a specific project. That way I get a better idea of what people think. Not that it makes much difference, I end up self-harming anyway.
Cheers YesNo. Out of interest what type of project were you involved in the days of 2001 to enable you to give up any other type of work?
