I think your PM remark is maybe a little harsh. I certainly didn't badmouth you. You've made that seem a little worse than it actually was. Which is unjust.
I like Ben, too. He is a very good writer, and he looks a little like me.
And I certainly haven't gone out of my way to annoy anyone. I'm sorry if that is the way it has come across.

Just to clarify, I only verbally passed on to Matt what we discussed by PM. Knowing how forthright you are I felt you wouldn't mind your criticisms finding their way to the recipient. Certainly you've mentioned how important you feel honesty is in these matters.
