Poor Postie

EXT. DAY. MORNING

A POSTMAN APPROACHES THE GATE TO A HOUSE. HE CAUTIOUSLY OPENS IT AND TIP TOES DOWN THE PATH. HE POSTS THE LETTERS, LOOKS RELIEVED AND TURNS ROUND. A BIG DOG IS SNARLING AT HIM, BLOCKING THE EXIT. THE DOG CHASES HIM ROUND THE GARDEN

CUT TO:

EXT. DAY. EVENING

THE POSTMAN, WITH CLOTHES IN TATTERS AND COVERED IN SCRATCHES, APPROACHES A LETTERBOX. HE FISHES HIS KEY OUT AND UNLOCKS IT. UPON OPENING THE DOOR HE DISCOVERS ANOTHER SNARLING DOG INSIDE THAT JUMPS OUT AT HIM

CUT TO:

INT. NIGHT.

THE POSTMAN ENTERS HIS FLAT AND CHUCKS HIS TATTERED JACKET ON THE COUCH. HE FLOPS DOWN NEXT TO IT AND KICKS OFF HIS SHOES. HE REACHES FOR THE REMOTE AND TURNS ON THE TV. HE FLICKS THROUGH THE CHANNELS UNTIL HE COMES TO A PICTURE OF A SNARLING DOG FACING HIM. THE DOG JUMPS OUT OF THE TV AND MAULS HIM.

END

Stuff like this isn't for everyone, but thank you for your comment all the same :)

Yeah, it's good. Problem is, by the third one, we're sort of expecting it, so maybe an unexpected twist would do it some good at the end.
