Leader of The Ankh-Morpork City Watch in the Discworld books. He is harsh. Judd Nelson harsh.

If he appeared in either of the two telly films that I have seen him otherwise I didn't stand a chance! And I only watched the films because David Jason was in them!

So, perhaps the films don't do the books justice. Or perhaps I just thick or have a limited attention span. How knows?

Who indeed? :P

I'm always doing that. How, who... same bloody letters!

PS: I meant to do that. It was to compliment the "thick" statement.

i honeslty don't think it is that important to make an effort with grammar as long as people know what the message is conveying.

Well, it is:

I like the spontenaity of writing quick replies on forums it makes it more interesting if you have to go back and check the message you have just written it makes a for thought out boring thread comment. forums should have soul.

I completely agree, the same goes for the amount of emoticons used in my opinion,
It seems to be a crime on here to use more than one at a time but if the same rule applied in stand up or comedy shows, they would die a death rapidly.
A laugh is a laugh however it's expressed.

To be fair, the rules have been made by the people who created this site. If you created a site and someone broke your rules, wouldn't you want them not to? Or something like that anyway...

I'm not really bothered about emoticons. But use the space bar after a comma.

Are stand-up comedians using emoticons in their act now? Do they Bluetooth a punchline emoticon to the audiences mobiles, who then 'tooth a LOL emoticon back? Jesus, this country's going to hell.

No Tim. Don't be stupid. The whole act is now digital whereby the emoticons do the talking. Lee Evans is out of a job.

I blame Dave Gorman. Him and his f**king Powerpoint "comedy" started the rot.

I don't like him. Or his poor quality acolyte, Danny Wallace. They can both sod off.

Oh, is that where the likes of Peter Kay came from?
