That one's easy - it doesn't exist.

I'll have you know it does.

'Fraid not. :)

Direct comparison of
auditory implicit memory tests
MAURA PILOTTI, ERIK T. BERGMAN, DAVID A. GALLO,
MITCHELL SOMMERS, and HENRY L. ROEDIGER III

EDIT: Are you disagreeing from a theoretical standpoint or for arguments sake?
I've got plenty of references if you want to read them. :)

A bit of both. Though it's a long time since I was at medical school, so I concede that evidence for auditory implicit memory may well have come to light since then. :)

I did some research in 2007 using a word stem completion task (did you cover this?) and the results were significant, it was to see if perceptual characteristics of speech influence auditory implicit memory. I won't go on any more and knowing you're a doctor I shall bow to your superior knowledge. 'If you say euthanasia is the only option Dr Tim Shipman then I shall follow the course of action you prescribe'. Damn my obedience to authority figures!

The bleedin' obvious.

Military firearms of the 20th century.

Science fiction movies from 1968 onwards.

Inspiring forum posts.

Sounds like an interesting subject. Implicit abilities within the brain versus environmental development. I always liked reading about the brain's inherent capacity for language formation despite congenital sensory deprivations. I shall have to go and read up on the latest research sometime. :)

A psychologist called DeCasper did some interesting studies. I think they might be a little 'anecdotal' if memory serves me correctly, but an interesting read all the same.
