That's not fair, she left without telling us who it is!

Yeah, no kidding! Angry

After 4 posts? Are you a stalker?

I've known the girl for a long time on other forums but embarrassment prevents me from telling her how I feel on forums familiar to us both.
It may be easier on a new forum but I'm still not sure.

My daughter met her fiance on an off-road truck racing forum. It seems to have worked out well for them.

I know it's possible because I introduced two forumers on a forum who got married eventually.

The difference being that the guy in question had the bottle to ask the girl on line for the first date.

You're a guy, right?

One reason for joining BCG is her, right?

Frightened she'll refuse, right?

Just stop being a lily-livered wuss and ask her. What's the worst that can happen?

How about you tell us who it is and we'll ask her... ;)

It's probably Jen or Sexy Girl.

:D

Hee.
Of course!

Sexy Girl's my guess. He's just shit-scared of Don!

Geoff - just noticed your quote. We have a family in-joke about a comment my dad made about my mum; "your mother's no fat, she's just got a big arse." Where's your quote from?

Where's your quote from?

It's an original Mutton of several years vintage, Dolly.

Maybe I went to school with your father (if he was there the day I attended).

She may say no, that wouldn't bode well for the future on a new forum, I'm certainly no wuss, just cautious ;)

There's more to life than forums.

There's emails too.

There's more to life than forums you know.

But not much more.

Look, this is how simple it is;

*clears throat* "Dolly Dagger, could I invite you out?"

I've no idea what she'll say. If it's no, I'm sure we'll respect each other and just get on with life.

Well Dolly? *drums fingers on cocktail cabinet in back of Rolls*

Have you got any malt whisky in that cabinet?
