Still, by the end of this I will have made £1,400! Which will go into redecorating my flat and saved away for university.

I'm thinking of getting a new accountant - yours sounds brilliant at total deduction avoidance!
Whistling nnocently

Robert - do you own the flat then?

Dolly..Ssshhhh.

He's sleeping on a blow up matress for God sake. :)

Well, minus taxes of course...

Well done Robert - that's pretty impressive. Everyone forgets lines - it's normal and gives you some nice anecdotes for your memoirs and chat shows later on.

And remember everyone, if this is Robert's only source of income he can earn up to £6,475 without having to pay any income tax on it.*

So I'd do a few more if I were you.

:)

* Yes I really am that boring.

What is the name of the play, Robert?

And where exactly is it being held?

Give it a plug. :)

No. Quite unlikely his income tops the tax threshold. £6,000 something odd.

That's the one.

You only missed out one line and unless the show was called 'Ain't She Pretty?', I really wouldn't worry about it too much.

Was the actress playing the girl actually pretty? If not, your mental block and inability to confirm the attractiveness of the woman in question could be easily explained.

The show must go on and other theatrically based platitudes!

Robert - do you own the flat then?

No. Rented. I'm 17, how on earth could own it. Teary

Only until I get my room finished. :)

Nope. No tax. :D

Too true. :)

Yep, I might do.

"That Open Door" - Crap name I know.

And it's being held at my Sixth Form College but I'm not telling you which one over a public forum. :P

Nah, I'm not today. I'm going to put everything into tomorrow's performance and forget about last night. ;)

Are you allowed to decorate it then? I'm a landlady and I would never let my tenants decorate one of my properties (unless they were professional decorators by trade) let alone pay for it themselves!

Special permission as I am related to the landlady. (ie. she's my aunt) Pleased

However, perhaps she should pay for it... Mmmm, you got a point.

Ah, you'd better do a good job then!

One of my tenants kept asking if they could paint the tastefully neutral recently decorated house they rent orange. I've had to keep turning them down.

Yeah, that's the colour I want to do my bedroom. As I posted in another thread, like the living room in My Family.

What's with the orange? When one of my friend's rented a room off me he wanted it painted orange. Which I duly did, with a silver radiator.

Yeah, my aunt's not that pleased. I have to return the flat to her in it's original state next year, unless she likes it so who knows...
