Tonight, between the hours of 7 and 9, I was playing a part in a friend's play at my Sixth Form.
300 people in the audience, a cast of 14, with my mate Dave in the lead and me as his co-star. All had paid £5 a ticket and we'd (me and Dave; as the producers) had hired the hall for £200. We paid each actor £50 for the night (so that's £700). So, we made about £600 profit (£350 each) so all was good.
I had a really simple line at one point and I buggered it up. "Ain't she pretty" was what I had to say and I couldn't bloody remember it. Dave even prompted me by saying "Don't you think she's pretty?" but by that point panic had stuck and I was doomed.
"Oh well, it happens" says Dave afterwards but I can't help but think I buggered it all up. I'm depressed now.
