I haven't hacked into any Facebook account. It was a stupid, immature comment to make - and I shouldn't have made it. I used to work as a website 'closer', and it would seem that 'old habits really do die hard'. Incidentally, that comment was probably the only time that I have ever been untruthful on this site.
So sincerest apologies for that post.
I am still a little bitter about my daughter's treatment on The BCG. And, although she longs to return, she feels slightly embarrassed and degraded at what Aaron has asked her to do in order to regain her membership.
Also, now that I have this opportunity, I would like to apologize for any offensive comments that I have made since joining this site in December.
I'm honest and open with people; simple as that.
Most of the writers on here - as far as great jokes are concerned - couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo.
I won't name names; I'm sure deep down these people know who they are.
I'm also confident that many of these people are funny looking, and don't have girlfriends. But that is beside the point.
So, I guess, in short, what I'm really trying to say is that - I have decided to step down as The BCG's unofficial Keeper of the Peace. And will be retiring from this site in the very near future.
For the one or two of you that are disappointed at the news of my imminent departure, fear not.
My younger brother - Rusty Rushmore - will hopefully be joining The BCG some time next week. And he is very much looking forward to meeting you all.
That's about it from me, I think.
So I'd just like to wish all of you the very best of luck in whatever you decide to do in the future. I genuinely hope all of you are successful.

IMO it takes a man to admit he's wrong and admit to a lie, most don't have the substance to do such a thing publicly. As for insulting everybody in one swoop I missed that part, or was it this?

He mentioned most, not all writers and to be fair he's almost right, I would say 'a lot of' not most.
The chances of having a comedy forum where a substantial percentage of the members are actually capable of writing great jokes, is remote. I wouldn't say he was insulting, more pointing out a fact. Those who feel insulted by the facts just have problems with their own insecurity and if they can't take critique shouldn't really be writing in the first place.

No there were also personal insults, some about people's appearance. To be fair I think Don did apologise to all concerned about this. I don't think people mind having their work slated but personal insults are another matter.

I for one am not sad to see Don go, he was a piss stain on the snuggly blanket that is BCG. He upset a fair few people with his remarks on the board and in unsolicited PMs.
Good riddance.
All this talk of multiple login names has made me vary wary of new posters and that saddens me.
