Where does your name come from? Page 3

Rather boringly, my name comes from an inside joke between my brother and myself. We would get bored and do our own fake radio show recordings on cassette tape.

We'd make up little sketches including a take off of the pirate radio Jungle music stations in Hackney. I'd be Renegade Carpark and he'd be Daddy Ruffness - our hip hop street names.

And there you have it fact fiends.

That's actually quite cool.

If I were a rapper I'd call myself MC Guffin.

Ha, clever.

Very clever indeed.

I don't get it. :|

It gets worse, we called our radio station Cab FM because we couldn't afford a proper pirate radio mast and could only broadcast via mini-cab drivers radios.

Mine's a Hendrix song about a groupie he was shagging who was also shagging Mick Jagger (hence Dagger to rhyme with Jagger). She was into S&M. :)

It's a term Hitchcock used (at least I think it was Hitch...) to describe the 'thing' that got the plot running, such as the loot in Psycho or the microfilm in North by Northwest.

George Lucas is one of the few people that still uses the term...FYI.

Ah, right, good-o! :)

It was also a surprisingly popular fart flavoured breakfast item available from McDonalds in the 1980s.
