100 greatest BCG moments. Page 9

I remember when the BCG went digital. Lost a good 5% of members cos they still had analogue computers. They way they went about that was a disgrace. But, at least we got some red button extras!

Or one of those hand-turned clapping machines :D

I like to think I'd have been huge in the forties, except I don't have the right hair.

There aren't many of us left who remember the days when you could only get the BSG in black-and-white, on a 3 inch screen. It was only online between the 6 and 10pm. Of course, it was offline completely for most of WW2.

The hair. Always "the hair" isn't it, David? "The hair's holding me back!" Ever thought that perhaps it's you that's holding your hair's career back?

Yes it's funny now when you look back at BCG in the late Noughties.
It's amazing how many of them made it big.
You can really see yesterdays stars of tomorrow today.

If it hadn't been for the BCG we wouldn't have such classic programmes as:

Leevils Saturday Sandwich.
The Real Bussell
Walkers Corkers
Stott messing about!
Sweryt again
Tapas with Chappers
to name but a few...

And Lee Henman has definitely been my favourite Doctor Who so far.
I know, I know a lot of people tend to say that they liked Chipolata best, but for me he had far too many assistants, and they overdid it with all the bedroom scenes in the Tardis.

Laughing out loud

Bussell and Stott really did make brilliant replacements for Jack and Iainto on Torchwood. I still remember the day the Chinese landed on the moon and DaButt blew them away from his secret moon TV studio.

Yes, some tense moments there... :D

Of course Leevil never married... We didn't think anything of it at the time...

Walkers Corkers

Yes, but wasn't this followed by Walker's Porkers, where he admitted everything he'd said in the series previous had been a lie?

Bussell? Well, of course, he never married... We didn't think much of it at the time...

Of course Tim Walker went on to save the planet by recycling all his old jokes. ;)

Damn it all if this thread isn't bringing out the best in everyone. Thank you thread creator, Fred!

Yes, cheers Fred.

I don't think most people had any idea Bussell's homo-erotic hair was a wig. When the wig asked for top billing in David's Radio 4 chat show 'Meet The Writers Of Holby Blues', they fell out and went their separate ways. The wig went on to host 'Start The Week', whilst Bussell wrote a bitter memoir about suffering follicle abuse as a child.

The non-stop flirting between Tim Walker and Andrea Lynne came to a head in early 2010 when Tim flew to Tennesse to meet up with his transatlanctic lover.

How we all laughed when Andrea turned out to be a 50 year old unemployed truck driver named Burt Kawolski. Still, fair play to Tim, he'd flown all the way there and the two of them made a go of it.

After the civil union, they opened a business selling pink sheets to gay Ku Klux Klan members and now own the largest Muscrat breeding facility in the tri-state area. Thus making them the most successful people to have ever graced these forums.

They've lost contact with most of the BCG members, but DaButt did throw a rock at their trailer door as he was driving through town 5 months ago.
