100 greatest BCG moments. Page 3

My personal highlight has been getting my first radio sketch on series 97 of Newsjack. Of course Blenkinsop still hasn't cracked it...

And you only needed the one flask of anthrax.

Did we scare the people at NewsJack? Maybe.
Once they realised that the entire audience were from the BCG things did get awkward.
So they sacked all of their In House writers, I'd have done the same thing myself In the same situation.

They didn't want another Watsons Wind up situation.
I can still see Mikey J with that petrol bomb as if it was yesterday.
*Starts to cry & gestures for them to turn the camera on*

Of course everyone knows where they were the day a certain BSGer held a school hostage and forced them to reenact the whole of Waterloo Road.

In the end the living envied the dead.

I miss Sooty. No one has seen him since they tracked him down at his underwater volcano lair. Poor guy built one earth destroying laser and ended up on the FBI most wanted list.

It was all he wanted.

It was terrible to find out that one of our own, namely (NAME WITHHELD FOR LEGAL REASONS), turned out to be the infamous female celebrity serial killer. I can't look back over the 'Who Do You Fancy?' Thread without weeping over the pictures of those poor victims. It all seemed so innocent at the time...

But my frock was lovely, you must admit.

Just a little too revealing I thought. ( Sick )

That doesn't narrow it down much. Pleased

Of course it came as a shock to discover zooo really was a gay man.

Though to be fair Aaron took it surprisingly well.

I rather enjoyed that day that zooo banned every single member...

Hehehehe "member"...

Yeah. That was quite fun. I loved it how she even banned herself. :)

I recall when they discovered there were only four real users on the whole forum.

Course the Writers' Discussion section has changed a lot. Well, now there's only one production company to send scripts to... 'GalactiC**t TV'. And that's controlled by our evil Robot Overlords. And it's a ten year wait for feedback. (At least they accept unsolicited scripts, but if they don't like them they do tend to vaporise you.) Still, at least they are setting up a special new slave colony to find the next "new wave" of talented comedy writers. Most of think it's worth spending 23 hours a day in the Moon mines for the 1 hour mentoring from 'Wise Nickson' the computer.

But it's sad 30 years on that we're still arguing about script formatting...

Of course it was later revealed that the whole site was just a front to plug Marc P's book.

As I said to Rowan Atkinson. "Rowan old chum, I didn't even get a feckin auto response. What are they trying to tell me?"

He looked at me and replied:

"Blenks, me old China, I think you're cream crackered son. But I'll tell you this and I'll tell you no more. They'll all remember where the were and what the were doing. Trust me pal, it'll go down as one of the BCG's 100 greatest moments"

And of course that gave me a lift. Well it would wouldn't it?
