I was ill from Fri to Sun with the sore throat and the congestion and the stuffy head. Of course, the first thing people say when you report any of these symptoms is: 'Oh, swine flu!'
I was fine by the end of Sunday. Just a little reminder that people are still going to get the same viruses, colds and flu's that they always have had.
Not like the media to make a big deal of something, is it. Lazy bastards.

Thanks for the reminder, John!

Please accept a virtual boot up your dirty great arse.
Does anyone have swineflu? (I haven't read the whole thread...)
I don't know anyone with it personally but I have heard of cases in my area.
To put this in context:
Current plans facilitate for between 3,000 and 65,000 deaths above average.
The last time there was a flu pandemic, there were 21,000 extra deaths.
It's really not a big 'thing'.

No, I agree. It's a 'bloody' big 'thing'.
Of course it's not.
It's quite a big thing if you're one of the extra dead, perhaps?
My throat is quite sore today.

Well you shouldn't have put it in there, should you?
So no-one has it? Does anyone leave their house/room? Socialise in real life? Wow, if this wipes out the general population BSGers'll be the only ones left.
