Oh, that's right. I remember you mentioning that. The kids and I are thinking of going back to our naval museum next weekend. The last visit was terrible. We were basically yanked through all 3 ships by my father-in-law and missed almost everything. And if I have time, I want to take them to Niagara Falls. We go every few years and the kids love it.
The falls are on my to-do list. The only parts of NY I've visited are Manhattan and whatever freeways/interstates run between Philly and Vermont.
So that might mean 81 and maybe the fabulous NYS Thruway...my sister has been leaning on me to go to Texas to visit her, but the problem is that I'd have to spend time with her...

yes, but she tends to be very smug and condescending toward me because she has a better education. It would be so easy for me to be cruel and mention the fact that my husband, though a major turd, isn't gay and isn't using me for my money. But, I'm not wired like that, so oh well. Not really sure. There's the JFK stuff and the tour of the place where they print money. Probably a lot of good restaurants, too.
That's probably why they love living there. From what she's said, they never have a meal at home. On the phone tonight I told my sister how I roasted a chicken and she was amazed and asked for the recipe. Foreign territory for me. I tend to Frankenstein things together.

She's staying with my parents. I invited her to stay with me, but she said it would be "too much" having my kids around all the time. It's just as well that she's with my parents. She probably won't even come over to my house while she's here. I've had 2 phone calls and 5 texts so far.
I'm glad I get along with all my family members.

I don't know how to do it exactly. In trying to figure out if my webcam was working, I inadvertently took about 75 pictures of myself. It has some kind of auto setting thingee. Anyhoo, to use Connor's picture, I sent it in an email, but I'm sure there's an easier way. There's gotta be. Oh, neat post number.

You can just upload the photo to something like http://imageshack.us/ and then paste the resulting link into your profile settings.

I think you need to crop it to square dimensions (100 pixels by 100 pixels?) and then upload it or it'll get squarshed down to a square anyway.
Yeah, I tried but my janky computer is being tempermental. So, right now, "squarshed" isn't too bad. I unfortunately have no stretchy boxer photos like some people...
