Sorry DaButt - Richard Nixon should have got an Emmy.

I think it should have gone to Apollo 12's Pete Conrad - the only astronaut with an apparent sense of humour. His quotes from the surface of the moon:
"Whoopee!"
"Man, that may have been a small one for Neil, but that's a long one for me."
I saw a crowd of Apollo astronauts on an old Bob Hope special years ago and I couldn't believe how stoic they all were. Don Rickles was merciless.

They were all hard-ass test pilots. They cut loose, but in their own way. The coolest thing about my job has been meeting a few of the old Apollo astronauts.
Very cool. As a bored housewife, I can tell you that I meet many fascinating people...
A page from Pete Conrad's (my company's founder and Apollo 12 moonwalker) wrist-mounted checklist that he carried on the moon:
Charming...so where was he hoping to find her...

The support people put stuff like that in their voluminous checklists and paperwork as a practical joke. The astronaut would be wandering around the moon, dutifully following the scripted procedures and he'd get a surprise when he turned the page.
Very funny. Oh, by the way, what's the verdict on your new car?

Very comfortable, drives like a dream. I like the satellite radio. We supported the launches of all the Sirius and XM satellites, so I feel a kinship with them.
Looking forward to a nice drive down to Corpus Christi and the Gulf of Mexico tomorrow morning.
Satellite radio is the best. I wish we still had it. there's a pile of stations I really miss.

The sound quality leaves a lot to be desired, but it's a nice change of pace when I get tired of the 16GB of songs on my thumb drive and I feel like listening to 70s music.
Yeah, my iPod is loaded up with a real eclectic mix of songs that I can't find on the radio here. We have the worst stations here.

I haven't even bothered with the radio here. The last commercial station I actually enjoyed was Indie 103.1 in Los Angeles and it went under earlier int he year. It's still streaming online, but I miss Steve Jones' (Sex Pistols) show. I keep hoping that he'll wind up on satellite radio somewhere.
