What's in an avatar? Page 6

Quote: Godot Taxis @ July 17 2009, 1:08 AM BST

Quite a lot.

People who change their avatar a lot are obviously attention seekers.

People who use images of famous people/actors/models are obviously quite vain.

People whose avatar is a visual joke are insecure as to whether they are actually funny.

Having avoided being labelled as any of the above, you may deduce that I'm a contented soul who enjoys the occasional drink.

I won't for one moment believe that a comedian could be vain, attention seeking or insecure!

And they are never socially inept to the point of Asperger's either. Let's get that clear right now.

Sadly, Nil, I believe this expression only ever came about - not because it is true - but because "passes" rhymes with "glasses". It's not a phrase I pin many hopes on, put it that way.

Glasses are good! Mine are not.

It was a joke (ish). I'd drawn glasses onto my avatar.

I'm a secret spectacle wearer.

I'm a secret spectacle wearer.

Secret spectacles?
Is that like witches dancing naked in a hidden grove of trees?
And you wear it?

More like fireworks. It's bloody dangerous.

What about a drawing of a skull?

People who have photos of London Taxis as avatars msturbate over photos of Thatcher.

But 1 and 3 certainly apply to me.

That's a skull? I thought it was a lightbulb man?

I like that he has a head for a skull yet he has an Adam's apple on his neck.
