Biggest regret? Page 6
Biggest regret - Not having a biggest regret (that I can think of...)
As I've said before I had the chance to go round the world but if I'd gone I wouldn't have my wife and kids. There are no guarantees - you cannot be sure whether a different decision would be any better.
If I'd gone I could have died in a plane crash or eaten by Dingos in the outback...or run over on the way to airport.
We shouldn't have regrets because we can't do anything about it - we have to look forward.
And the book says... 'You may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with you'.
I f**king hate that movie. A waste of rubber frogs.
'And don't tell me, please, that these things are simply a "coincidence".'

A waste of (mainly) CGI frogs.
Don't know that one. Airplane?
'Only a jackass carries a hand-cannon like that in the street'.

Too true. Way too true.

Not depressed again, Rob?

Me? Depressed? Very.
Keep telling myself it's down to teenage hormones but... I don't know. Also, Jenny was supposed to be back today (yesterday now I suppose) but she still isn't here.
I suspect she's gone back to her boyfriend's place (ie. his parents ) but anyway, I shouldn't laugh. Don't know why she did't have bring him back here.
Oh dear.
No-one else in the house then?
Quote: Tim Walker @ July 17 2009, 3:08 AM BSTOh dear.

Loz is in but she's gone to bed. She goes to bed at a reasonable time unlike me.
Jamie's got himself a girlfriend and he's round hers so... I'm depressed-ish.
It can get anyone down when most of the house is playing "happy families". s'OK though, romance fades and in a few months you'll be complaining that they're always around. (Jesus, what a cynic I am, sorry!)

Thing is, I'm also depressed because Jamie is moving out and that means I've got sort out the new rent ratios and all that cobblers... or find another flatmate. I was lucky getting Jenny to move in last month.
I will never complain that they are "always around" - I like company. Funny that is - I'm sat here, on my own, at three in the morning talking about loving company. What a contradiction!
