Got to get some kip. Ner-night guys, see you soon. Keep the campfire burning and watch out for those grizzlies!

Yeah, my brother in law is here all week.

Setup a points system for yourself; see how many gay references you can get out of him. And try to beat your score each day.

I will. Just found out he's directing their community's new musical, I can't wait.

Well, Hayden is asleep, so I have to decide if I want to get some sleep or keep writing...

20 MINUTES TO GO!!!!!

(FORM AN ORDERLY QUEUE... EDIT: TAKE 8 MINS OFF THE F-ING CLOCK!)

Is it true that your people are famous for loving to stay in lines?

Don't diss a queue in this country. Trying to cut in line (or jump the queue, as we say) is a worse sin than adultery. I'm (almost) serious. The Germans can queue, but they don't enjoy it enough. The French talk in queues, a big no-no. The Italians have no concept of queuing, it's a scientific fact.

Anyway, shop's open! Hope you've brought your ration cards!

Here in upstate New York, people don't understand neat, orderly lines. But I think that comes from the farmer mentality that still exists here.

Must be better than in New York city, where it's unwise to queue without a weapon of self-defence?

I'm such a wuss, I've never been to NYC. Had many opportunities to go, but never had the grapes to do it. I would have had to drive, and I'm not ready for that yet.

How far is it?

From my house, it would be about 350 miles away. But the traffic is nuts!

350 miles! Bloody long way. I wouldn't bother.

And you're in the same friggin' state?

Your country is far too big, I'm sorry, but there it is, I've said it.
