Awwwwww Morroco Mole!

It wasn't until I watched The Maltese Falcon (excellent Humphrey Bogart detective film) last year that I realised Morocco Mole was a cartoon version (this was before the days of 'homages' and long before people on DVD commentaries began using the French pronunciation of 'homage') of actor Peter Lorre.

I can't look at half of them now without thinking of Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law.

Voiced by Daws Butler and Mel Blanc. And a few voiced by the great Don Messick.

What was the one with the dog and the coyote? (in the middle). The dog has a crook (sp?). Was the coyote? character voiced by the same guy that did The Hooded Claw?

Oh my god, was just trying to find that. I LOVE Space Ghost!

Paul Lynde was the Hooded Claw and Mildew Wolf.

Best episode it the one with the Jetsons and they freak out when the carpet doesn't move and they end up there for days and Judy gets carried off by a vulture.

Cool, thought so. What was the title of the Mildew Wolf show? Or was it part of something else?

One of the best ever cartoon voice guys was Paul Winchell, who voiced Dick Dastardly and Gargamel (villain in the Smurfs). His daughter April has a website that has MP3s of some of the world's worst and most bizarre songs: http://www.aprilwinchell.com/audio/

I didn't realize Secret Squirrel predated Danger Mouse. Did they remake SS as one of those fancy new style Hanna-Barbera.

Mildew Wolf starred in It's The Wolf, which was part of The Cattanooga Cats.

Excellent, thanks.

There was a remake in the mid-90s with rather horrible artwork, resembling stark Soviet gloom-art, and all new voices.

What was the name of that sinister toon knight, you know, the one who used to say, "You make me so mad!", used to only be able to see his eyes through his armour helmet, would cross his arms and tap his foot...? Or have I got it wrong? ('The Simpsons' writers/animators have stuck him in for no reason a couple of times.)
