Sly Love With A Midnight Creeper...0200-0700 Shift

Well, it's about 04.30 BST/GMT, and have been up late writing.

Few about at this time of night, naturally.

Thought there should be a thread just for members who pop on to the site during the UK graveyard shift, to air a thought or an opinion, of any random nature.

Some of you are mad enough to live in other time-zones due to your weird preoccupation with living overseas. Others may just be insomniacs, night-shift workers, serial killers, etc.

Here's a place to air those lonely frustrations, ideally between BST 0200-0700, when no-one's around to reply to your posts anyway.

*puts on nightcap and yawns*

Well, I don't see why this thread can't be a haven for such talk. You can't really go off-topic, unless you're posting outside the time boundaries. Or if you're not discussing nocturnal (UK) visitors.

Other than my computer being munted. I'm too busy reading through old threads to really contribute much. There are quite a few old posts I would like to add my 2 cents worth to, but it is probably bad form to resurrect something from yonks ago, just to say, "I agree". "I disagree". "You make me feel sick". "You are a humourless git".

Talking of gits. I love words like; git, plonker, wazzock, gobshite. They are not used nearly enough. Please add your favourite slang, so that I may be amused.

Thank you so much Tim. As I've told DaButt, I have a 3 year old son with a screwed up internal clock and he's usually up til 1 or 2am every night. I've spent a lot of time reading and writing back and forth when I'm trying to stay awake with him. Some of the best conversations I've had with grown ups have been at that twilight hour. I look forward to meeting everyone here.
