Oh, yes, I was. But I had to chase up a job so couldn't have gone until later. Calm down - I'm going tomorrow.

I couldn't teach anyone who didn't want to learn. I'd end up smacking them, and you're not allowed to do that!

Somebody you'd admire then.

It's sad but true. Apparently we're meant to make lessons 'interesting' so students 'want' to learn. What's what they want got to do with it. I don't remember being consulted when I was at school. *intends to keep the vicious circle of boredom going*

What about the long hours, the endless planning and restriction by foolish and ill-advised central government intervention?

With the content of the national curriculum and the other restraints placed upon what is allowed to take place in schools, that's really quite impossible.

Plus a lot of teachers are bores who hate children.

Children? Yes, I'd figured that out.

Robyn is thinking about going into London, because she's lonely without the people who are walking around boroughs today, but it looks like it might rain.
Go to the Zoo and get some Lion Dung ??
put it out near the cat flap & that should scare it away.

George, a good friend of mine who was a teacher (he was a BIG strong bloke) once picked up an annoying pupil and used him to wipe the board. He didn't have a lot of trouble with that class after that.
Alas despite being extremely fit etc, the dreaded cancer got George, later.

We like her though!
Steal her then!
Don't worry - we're trying.

Are you nicer to the kitty than they are?

Don't encourage her. Unless the cat is genuinely being mistreated by it's owners then it should be left there. You people!
