Scrubs Page 9

Brilliant Episode. One of the best scrubs eps in a long time.

just getting into it but finding it hard to work out as they seem to show different series randomly on TV. Confusing.

I'm loving Season 8! Only 8 episodes in, but it's great. Interesting to see some of the main characters missing from a few episodes. Turk hasn't been in the last two episodes! Nonetheless, season 8 is definitely on par with the earlier seasons. :D

I thought series 8 was a return to form.

The last episode was very well done and I thought the ending was very sad but in a good way.

I will miss Scrubs.

Scrubs lives on
Another reprieve for medical comedy

American medical sitcom Scrubs has won yet another last-minute reprieve.
The show was fully expected to end after the end of the eight series, which finished with an episode called My Finale. Star Zach Braff had announced his departure, and the real name of the Janitor was finally revealed.

But despite the neat ending and ailing ratings, ABC is to renew the comedy for another series at the end of the year.

It is another stay of execution for the cult favourite , which airs on Comedy Central in the UK. Braff and creator Bill Lawrence previously said the seventh season would definitely be the last – but in the event the programme switched networks from NBC to ABC.
Braff will return for six episodes of the ninth series 'to transition the show to what it will become', it was reported this weekend.

Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter says ABC will also renew its crime comedy Castle and office sitcom Better Off Ted for the 2009-10 schedule.

It has given the green light to three new comedies: Cougar Town, starring Courteney Cox, Hank, starring Kelsey Grammer, and The Middle starring Patricia Heaton.

Very interesting.

In January 2009 I watched Scrubs for the first time. Season one episode one. I watched every episode in chronicle order and last night (22nd May 2009) I watch My Finale of season 8. That's all 8 seasons (so far) in approx 5 months. That's a lot of Scrubs in such a short period of time. Maybe that's why I found the last episode so emotional. What a way to finish! Okay there will be a season 9, but from what I've read, it'll kinda be season one again with a new cast. Certainly Scrubs as we know it is over and My Finale was a great way for that period to end. I just hope the show doesn't suck when the new cast take over. I also hope the old cast don't suddenly disappear. I hope they stick around in bit parts. Anyway, Scrubs take a bow, it's been a great ride. :)

Hey,

As fans of Scrubs you will most probably also love the soundtracks in the episodes. Joshua Radin features in many episodes with songs like I'd Rather Be With You and Closer. These two songs feature on his myspace (http://www.myspace.com/joshuaradin) as well as all Joshua's music being available to buy on iTunes.

Come and check him out!

About 7 years ago, I saw the first episode of Scrubs and dismissed it. However, I've recently found out I like it, so I'm starting with season 1 and working my way up. I love the bits between JD and the janitor.

I hope it's as good as when they did Saved By The Bell with a new cast.

... :O

That's a joke, right? RIGHT?!

;)

(Although I have a soft spot for Screech! He was crazy funny!)

I always thought Mark-Paul Gosselaa was a good actor. His character was just a bit of a dick, but likable.

I saw him in Dead Man On Campus and thought he showed off his skills well. Almost Slater-like persona.

What's he doing now? NYPD: Something or Other, was the last time I saw him.

Dustin Diamond is a mess.

Couldn't you just punch him?

He was in that for a bit, as Andy Sipowitz's last partner. He was also in Over There, the Iraq war thing, where he had his head cut off by terrorists. And he was in the shortlived Commander in Chief series, in which Gena Davis played the first woman president. You're right, he's not a bad actor.

I'd like to shake his hand for giving us so many classic comedy moments with Mr Belding!

He made a sex tape recently. I saw it on some shit last night.
